Keyboard and mouse aren't working, neither wired or wireless, android or linux, and it doesn't matter which USB ports I use! (I have the mothership as well) I have looked for someplace to check the USB and haven't found it. I have ordered another geekbox so I can make a comparison and possibly a good OS if that is the problem. Any suggestions?

Keyboard a mouse should be working "out of the box" unless you have nonstandard equipment. In a linux terminal try the lsusb command to see if you equipment is detected. Plugged and unplugged to find a difference. The dmesg command can help locate errors.

That's the problem, entering commands without a keyboard. Is there a virtual keyboard available? And where do I find an operations manual? It's hard to believe this product has been out for years and no readily available manual. Had to order the ttl serial converter so I can talk to it (I hope that function works).

Assuming you have a network available...
You should be able to ssh into the geekbox from a terminal window on your desktop (on a different computer, not the geekbox) if the geekbox is running a linux image and network is connected.
i.e. Find the geekbox IP on your network (check your router) and in the terminal window using the IP you found.
ssh geekbox@192.168.0.15
I agree with you. There was a forum at the geekbuying site, but it has been neglected for some time. That's why I started this forum. Hopefully more users will join here and this forum could become the "users manual".
