Hello everyone. Welcome to the unofficial GeekBox users forum.
Q. Why was this forum created?
A. Primarily because the official forum appears to be abandoned and overloaded with spam. I've tried to contact the official site admin to offer my assistance in moderating the forum, but received no reply. Unfortunately this is often the fate of many commercial forums. I felt this was unfair to the community, so I created the "GeekBox Users (unofficial)" forum. Hopefully this will become the forum of choice for the GeekBox community.
Q. Why is it "unofficial"?
A. Because I/We/The Forum have no affiliation with the manufactures or retailers of the GeekBox. I wanted this to be clear to forum members.
Q. Can you help with customer service issues?
A. No. See above answer. If you have questions that are NOT related to customer service, for example technical questions about the hardware or operating systems. Please feel free to ask the community. This forum was created for that purpose.
Q. Can anyone use this forum?
A. Yes, and for that reason I ask members to keep their posts suitable for families. You must register to post in the threads.
Q. Are there limitations on what I can post?
A. Yes. The primary subject of this forum is the GeekBox. All posts must be directly or indirectly related to the GeekBox, or a subject of general interest to GeekBox users. Attachments are disabled because this is a free forum hosting with limited storage space. Members are asked to post links to large files. SPAM IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
